Overview and Services Provided
The North Hills Golf Academy is a family-owned and operated premier golf academy. It is run by sisters
Sydney Smyers-Conway and Samantha Shoenfeld, alongside their husbands Alex Conway and Keith Shoenfeld. They have operated the academy since 2020 and are passionate about the game and helping others hone their golf skills.
NHGA specializes in junior and women’s golf lessons, providing players with quality instruction to improve their fundamental skills like chipping, putting, and full swing. We recognize the importance of making golf accessible to all. We provide adapted golf lessons to children and adults with health conditions or impairments in order to help them fully experience and enjoy the game of golf in the least restrictive way possible.
There is also an indoor driving range with six bays where you can work on your mechanics throughout the seasons, no matter what the weather is outside.
Programming
Junior Group Lessons: Sessions are once a week for four consecutive weeks. Students will need a set of golf clubs, or at least a driver, some irons, and a putter. Groups include ages 5-9 and ages 10-15.
Women’s Group Lessons: Sessions take place on Monday evenings at either 6 PM or 7 PM for four consecutive weeks. No prior experience is necessary. Students will need a set of golf clubs.
Indoor Driving Range: You can book a 30- or 60-minute session to work on your mechanics using one of the six bays and the launch monitors. Indoor driving range days are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
